I had done the compression but the file was still in the 40MB range and would not print. It is a problem with the pictures being large but I cannot control that at this end, and it's much better than the 72 dpi they used to send me.
The export feature is new to me on this version. I was wondering where the acrobat title in the banner had gone. I will use it more often.
They use plain jpgs downloaded from their classroom camera. It is created by teachers who are not very tech or design savvy and I need to do a lot of cleanup and tweaking. ( Can you see 4 different shades of red type in 2 similar fonts on a page?)
I normally use pngs whenever possible with Office products, including converting any pdfs to pngs. In an education environment, Publisher is the product of choice due to availability and price. However adding in any and all additional material makes life interesting on my end.
